Got into a Board game kick of collecting games and playing boardgames and haven't had much time to paint much lately.

Cut 1" pick foam into circles and shave the sides and edges and hot glue together.




Apply Acetone (fingernail polish remover)



Paint Dark Brown, Drybrush burnt orange then drybrush light tan.

This is not a Test (TNT) Solo Rules test.

Trying out the new TNT solo rules. Seems pretty fun, Easy way to get some more experience between campaign games. They are limited to only one game of solo Rad Zombies must die, again during the campaign. Wouldn't want one side getting better faster then the other to make for an unbalanced campaign game.





I punched out my chits for the zombie bag with a 1" hole punch and hot glued them into some bottle caps, as well as using an awesome purple crown bag for my zombie chit bag :)

Weekend Gametime !

Played some more Random Encounters this weekend with my Wife and a friend. Finally beat the Level 3 Kingdom Boss !!


 Also played some of Chris's new game Dungeon Saga.



We went through the 2 tutorial quests to get familiar with the gameplay.


We also played a game of Legendary the Deck building card game. Really enjoyed this weekends gametime trying out new games and learning them. Cant wait to play more !!

Backed this game a while back and finally came in, been waiting on this one.
Random Encounters. This is a Co-operative fantasy ROG card game.
GOAL OF THE GAME
In Random Encounters, each player takes on the role of a Character with unique abilities, heading out on a grand journey across the country. Help one another take on the Encounters in the Forest, Caves, and Abandoned Kingdom, each with their own fearsome Boss Monsters. Defeat a Boss Monster from all 3 levels and you win!

The Components are top quality ! Gameplay is Very easy to learn and play. Me and my wife sat down and played within 10 minutes of me reading through the rulebook, Of course we lost to the Level 3 Kingdom Boss... but we shall prevail !!

Back after a rough year!

Hi everyone, its been almost a year since I posted last and updated my Painting Blog. It has been a rough year with my wife falling ill then Breaking her leg. She has been out of work for a while so that means more work hours for me to keep us afloat.

Had a couple of work buddies over for some introduction to tabletop wargames, and boardgames. Started out slowly with some Zombicide.

This is not a Test

This was our first test run for This is not a test (TNT), the Fallout- wasteland skirmish miniatures game from World End Publishing and written by Joseph McGuire.

 

This was the board setup with the homemade terrain I made and the wife painted.
